In the Toyooka area there are a lot of fishing ports because Toyooka faces the Sea of Japan. As a result you can eat a wide variety of seafood in each season.
Squid and crab in particular are very famous as the principal products of Toyooka. Wild spring vegetables and tender Tajima Beef are highly recommended too. Please try out our tastes in a local Japanese-style hotel, pension, or restaurant.
